“It’s a long way to the shop if you want a sausage roll!”
Finalists in the BBC’s “UK’s Best Part-Time Band”, madcap foursome, King Salami and the Cumberland Three are currently on tour, promoting their new album “Goin’ Back To Wurstville”. Headed up by zany front-man Salami, their self styled Blues-Punk Rock has everyone on their feet from the first chord.
After seeing them on BBC4 I had to check these guys out, and I wasn’t disappointed, they’re awesome. Their raucous, jump up and rock beats, coupled with the indomitable energy of Salami and his band ripped through the walls of Nambucca in North London like a tornado unleashed into the audience, who by the end of the show were all up on stage and dancing along.
